Intelligent Design is Worthless

ID is a complete dead-end scientifically. It just sits there and does nothing. For scientists this an even greater defect than being wrong. An incorrect perspective might still lead you to something useful and interesting, even if just the discovery that our perspective needs to be changed. ID doesn't even do that.

Drop Dead Fred

"Today I have withdrawn my candidacy for president of the United States," Thompson, a former Tennessee senator and Hollywood actor, said in a statement.

I doubt that this lazy looney-bird candidate will be missed by anyone.

He Had A Dream

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. day in the USA. It is a national holiday that many companies choose not to celebrate (by not giving their employees the day off). That is a shame, because many could benefit from using the day for quiet reflection on the huge contributions the man made toward eliminating racism. And that reflection would be helpful because racism has not yet been completely eliminated.
