The 400 richest Americans used to pay 30% of their income on the average to Uncle Sam. Today, they pay 18% on the average, according to Steve Rattner, a Wall Street financier.

And those tax cuts have been in effect for over a decade now. And we were promised that these cuts would cause the "job creators" to create job and that prosperity would abound. Didn't happen.

Now the chorus is singing that if we roll back those tax breaks, we'll lose jobs and prosperity.

Crazy. And many fools believe it.

The Fourteenth Amendment, Section 4:

The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.

So Democrats, listen up, don't cave to the right and just continue to pay the debt. This debt ceiling nonsense is not Constitutional!
