Scientologists On The Attack Against Gays

In a shocking new tactic attempting to ban peaceful protesters from picketing the Scientology compound known as "Gold Base" near Hemet, CA, Scientology lawyers have obtained medical information regarding two protesters, and are using their HIV positive status in an attempt to prevent them from picketing at the location.

Worldwide pickets against Scientology have surged in the last year, and Scientology has been fighting to stop them, especially near the Hemet compound. Scientology has used tactics ranging from physical attacks , false reports to police, and the emission of an estimated 110db organ note from loudspeakers in an attempt to drown out the protesters' chants.

The latest tactics, however, are downright sickening, illegal, and an insult to members of the LGBT community and HIV patients worldwide.

Attorney Graham Berry and activists "Angry Gay Pope" (AGP) and "Happy Smurf" (a former Scientologist) are openly homosexual. Scientology, which policy states that homosexuals are "low on the tone scale" and should be "disposed of quietly and without sorrow", has obtained AGP and Happy Smurf's private records and discovered that they are HIV positive.

Scientology is lobbying for the passage of a county-wide ordinance restricting protesting at "Gold Base". Scientology considers the presence of the two HIV+ men to be a threat to the well-being of the alleged 500 "church workers" at the Base, and is seeking to restrict protests in a move that may constitute an restriction on 1st Amendment rights of activists in Hemet.

This is not the first time Scientology has openly spoken out against homosexuality. At the 2008 Toronto Gay Pride Parade, Scientologists made false claims of being able to cure homosexuality.

Recently the Church of Scientology of California donated a generous sum of money to aid in the passing of Proposition 8, a law that banned marriage between homosexual couples.

What the ... are you talking about???? "Recently the Church of Scientology of California donated a generous sum of money to aid in the passing of Proposition 8, a law that banned marriage between homosexual couples." BULLshit! The Church of Scientology is not against homosexuals and you know it. Why are you lying then?

On Sunday, November 9, 2008 Michigan liberals sat peacefully through announcements, worship and prayer for the sick, our nation and our President-elect before staging a coordinated, disgusting and repulsive attack on worshipers and the broader concept of the church itself at Lansing's Mount Hope Church.

The lefties were a part of a liberal organization known as Bash Back Lansing and their collection of radical blogs, including one of the state's most widely read "mainstream" progressive blogs (and none which will receive a link on this website) called on "queers and trannies" from across the state and the region to converge on Lansing for what they refer to as an "action."

The goal of this particular action was made clear on a progressive blog:

"I can tell you that we are targeting a well-known anti-queer, anti-choice radical right wing establishment."

A little background on the "radical right wing establishment" in question:

Mount Hope, for the record, is an evangelical, bible believing church whose members provide free 24 hour counseling, prayer lines, catastrophic care for families dealing with medical emergencies, support groups for men, women and children dealing with a wide variety of life's troubles, crisis intervention, marriage ministries, regular, organized volunteer work in and around the city, missions in dozens of countries across the globe, a construction ministry that has built over 100 churches, schools, orphanages and other projects all over the world and an in-depth prison ministry that reaches out, touches and helps the men and women the rest of society fears the most. They also teach respect for all human life and the Biblical sanctity of marriage as an institution between one man and one woman.

This is what Michigan liberals label a "radical right wing establishment," and over 30 of them showed up in force [Sunday]. Wearing secret-service style ear pieces and microphones they received the "go" from their ringleader and off they went.

The "open minded" and "tolerant" liberals ran down the aisles and across the pews, hoping against hope to catch a "right winger" on tape daring to push back (none did). And just in case their camera missed the target, they had a reporter in tow. According to a source inside the church yesterday there was a "journalist" from the Lansing City Pulse along for the ride, tipped off about the action and more interested in getting a story than in preventing the vandalism, the violence and anti-Christian hatred being spewed by the lefties.

We need more gay rights. Lock them up like they were heterosexuals.

Ignore the "Louanne" with the long posting, that's just a troll. Typical scumbag tactics by people who have nothing sensible to say.

Again:

False: "Recently the Church of Scientology of California donated a generous sum of money to aid in the passing of Proposition 8, a law that banned marriage between homosexual couples."

True: The Church of Scientology is not against homosexuals and you know it. The Church never has and never will be funding any such campaign for any reason. It's not something Scientology deals with.

Ergo: You lie.

Now read that!

As I dig thru a lot of shit on the Interwebs, about the only thing that seems certain to me is that there sure are a lot of kooks on both sides of this one!

"Louanne" and "LL" are screennames used by Scientology apologist Louanne Lee (real name available through Google). She is sent by the cult to post in articles such as these.

She and other pro-Sci commenters post in the same pattern:

- The first few comments say the article is full of lies, no matter how sourced it is.

- They will call anyone who makes a rebuttal an "idiot" or any other childish name

- They will say something like "Scientology helps people" or "Scientology has (insert statistic here)" or "Why are you attacking a religion?"

- Then they will continue to attack the comments, the article poster, and the site itself with thinly veiled ad-hominum attacks.

- If this doesn't work, they will try to steer the comments off-topic, by ranting about Phyciatry, or nit-picking one statement in someone's comments

My advice? Ignore the trolls!

The statements in this article ARE true, and 2 minutes of Google-fu will prove that. "Church of Scientology of California" IS listed as a sponsor of the Prop 8 campaign. Don't take my word for it: look it up yourself.

Good thoughts there, Anonymous.

This is quite funny as if the scientologists must apologize for something.
Even though Scientologists have some far out beliefs, they nailed this one. Their beliefs line up with the majority of Americans including the prez & prez elect. Quoting the prez elect "Gays have all the civil rights due them".

Contempt is the emotion you get when you find your opponents argument to formidable to refute. Let the christophobes continue their attacks and their hatred.

Looks like you really stirred up a hornets nest with this one, csm.

I find myself at my most content as the hornets buzz about my cranium. I guess that says something about me, doesn't it?

Of course, I expected some type of reaction since Scientologists are notorious for trolling and posting reactions on blogs (even ridiculous little ones like this, I guess). I await smiting at the hands of the mighty Xenu.
