No Privacy Online

Hidden deep in Senator Christopher Dodd's 630-page Senate housing legislation is a sweeping provision that affects the privacy and operation of nearly all of America's small businesses. The provision, which was added by the bill's managers without debate this week, would require the nation's payment systems to track, aggregate, and report information on nearly every electronic transaction to the federal government.

Well, that really sucks. Here's another huge bite being taken out of our privacy. I might just go on-line and buy dildos, tapioca pudding, and diapers... that'll make 'em wonder what I'm up to and why the hell they're tracking me...

...or they'll show up to put my ass in an institution somewhere.

This is the same federal government who wants to listen to our phone calls, watches our bank transactions, would like to regulate cable TV and satellite radio and laps up all the filthy lucre that huge corporations can dish out. This is the goddamn nanny state I have been bitching about and have never voted for! This is why I am surprised as shit we now have the right to bear arms. When they show up to put you away, csm, please do me the favor of blasting a couple caps in the fuckers, I would. Motherfuckers!

I knew they were going to fuck up the Internet; they have to if they want to stay in power. Motherfuckers!

I own a shotgun so I don't have to take shooting lessons. With a shotgun you don't have to worry too much about aiming well.

Shotgun, the perfect home invasion defense. Agreed.

Our privacy is being eroded by an ever growing and insatiable federal government and large multi-national corporations who what to get into our consumer head. Add to this the growing thirst from some state governments and it will become harder and harder to drop out of society or hey, own a an unlicensed dog.
