Clueless Church-Going Bastards

The more often Americans go to church, the more likely they are to support the torture of suspected terrorists, according to a new survey.

More than half of people who attend services at least once a week -- 54 percent -- said the use of torture against suspected terrorists is "often" or "sometimes" justified.

My guess why this is so: these folks have been tortured every Sunday and think that others need to be tortured, too. {Note to the humor-impaired: that was a joke... only a joke...}

I guess you didn't make it down to this part:

"The religious group most likely to say torture is never justified was Protestant denominations..."

or this:

"Roughly half of all respondents -- 49 percent -- said it is often or sometimes justified."

So the difference between those who go to church and the average is within the typical margin of error. The poll says nothing.

I just reports what I sees.

Define torture please. Of course the survey does not. Useless and worthless propaganda. This nation does not torture now or under Bush. Its just a political game played by the left to provide them more power. The word TORTURE invokes emotionalism which Obama plays on very well.

I think Anonymous needs to be deprived of food & water and then waterboarded, because, after all, it is not torture... some people are so fucking gullible!
